I purchased a 1 year subscription for their System Mechanic and overall from what I am finding, the product itself is good and it does help clean up my junk files and had helped improved the performance speed of my computer. But one thing they don't really mention is that they do add another monthly "premium" support fee which costs around $20 a month on top of the product you are using.
When I tried to access my account via their website to see if I could cancel the support subscription, I was having trouble getting an access link sent to me and in calling their support team, like another reviewer had mentioned, be aware that they seem to be more of a Sales rep than anything else. The people who I had been talking with constantly tried
...Mostrar másto sell me more products and subscriptions instead of actually helping me resolve my issue. It took some time of me saying "No" to everything they tried offering me before they finally relented and switched me over to an actual technician who then helped me with my issue instantly and assisted with canceling the premium monthly support fee going forward.
Note: Apparently, they no longer offer services to login to the account online anymore and instead you need to call them to mange your subscriptions but you wouldn't have known that from the website itself as well.
Hence why I am giving the rating the way it is (1 star for the product itself and 1 star for the technician):
Pros
-Good overall product
-Excellent help from the technician once you actually do reach them after jumping through hoops with their initial "support" team.
Cons
-Their first point of contact being a Sales Rep/Support when you contact their number is not helpful at all. Especially when you are calling to try and get help on an issue but instead are bombarded by them asking if you would like to increase your subscription to them or get more products.
-The "premium" monthly support fee which gets included and charges you monthly on top of the software your may have purchased.
Overall, I also cancelled my renewal for their product and will just use it for the remaining 1 year time I have with them since I do not wish to go through with dealing with their initial support/Sales team again.
